MY CULTURE

My Learning focus for PBL this term is about cultural stories.

My family is pure kiwi my brother sister mum and dad.

We go on holiday every January to Alexandra or kaiteriteri.

 And have fish and chips every Wednesday.

Hope you put a comment below and not get 0 views this time but I know why.

PBL

For basically the whole term we have been working on PBL.

I went with Joey we did a bit. Then I went with Arie because me and joey didn't get much done.

Then Arie ditch me. So then I had to go back with Joey then we finished it.

We share it with the little kids. Then our parents. (but mine didn't come). So joeys mum did.

TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGES

TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGES

Welcome back to the blog.  Today I will be showing you some of are technology challenges that we have been doing in the Tumu hub. I learned that you can't do everything by yourself. The challenges we have been doing are...
Marshmallow challenge:We had to make towers out of marshmallows and dry pasta sticks, Our idea was to have the marshmallows as stabilize it so the pasta sticks could stick in them to keep them together.

Stretcher:We had to use newspaper a meter of string and 3 meters of tape to make a stretcher to carry a bag of average weight books and half a cup of water (ours worked!).

Cup stacking: We had a to stack cups (3 on bottom 2 on top then 1 on the top top) by stacking them with out touching them, we used a rubber band with strings on the sides to stack them this how we did it-

Paper chains: We made paper chains out paper we had a big piece of paper only, we used tiny strips so we could have a really long chain- ( there was no photo of our group this do. Our group won!)

I started coding this year. I've made a couple things on scratch then moved to html. I decided to make a scratch project of my own and when it got really good and was ready, I published it and heaps of my class mates went on it because they really wanted to go on it but they couldn't because it wasn't shared.
